Trip Report: Alvear Art Hotel

My week long tour of Buenos Aires continued with a quick one night stay at the Alvear Art Hotel, located near Saint Martin Square and the shopping areas of Santa Fe Avenue and Florida Street, and the Galerias Pacifica shopping mall. We arrived as a group in and check in ran fairly smoothly and we were quickly on our way to our rooms.

I stayed in a Studio Premier Suite. The decor was fresh and contemporary and the room was large, although technically not a suite. These rooms have a desk, a sitting area with a sofa, and a full four piece bathroom with a large jacuzzi tub and heated floors.

The hotel has a gorgeous rooftop pool with amazing views over the city. On the same floor as the pool there is also a small spa and a modern gym facility which also has great views.

The Alvear Art Hotel is not currently in Virtuoso, so if you want to be VIP’d please get in touch with me directly.

My three takeaways:

Fabulous:

Loved the clean modern decor, heated bathroom floors, and in-room Nespresso machine.

Faux Pas:

The service was not quite as polished as at the Alvear Palace hotel, but the price point is much lower.
