Respite at the Four Seasons Punta Mita

While I love the white sand beaches and blue water of the Caribbean side of Mexico, I had forgotten about the joy of watching the sun set over the ocean. What a treat!
The Four Seasons is located about 45 minutes or so from the Puerto Vallarta airport. Transfers are easy and we are happy to arrange them for you either through the hotel concierge, or one of our other service providers.
I stayed for four nights in a Casita Room – Ocean View. My room was spacious and I enjoyed being able to see the ocean while drinking my morning coffee and hear the waves crashing on the rocks. They are starting a renovation project, so expect to see changes and updates soon.
The Four Seasons Punta Mita is an excellent choice for families traveling with children. They have a gorgeous family-friendly oceanfront infinity pool, a lazy river, an active beach area with games and a trampoline, fresh churros every evening, and a super cool teen area (among the usual Kids For All Seasons offerings and amenities).
However, my favorite place on property was the beautiful Tamai Pool Complex. This is the adults-only pool area which has two pools, two hot tubs, cabanas for rent, and an Asian restaurant. The service was excellent, and the lounge chairs were generously cushioned.
In addition to regular rooms and suites, the Four Seasons Punta Mita also has Residences and Villas which are great for anyone who wants more space or more of a residential-style stay experience. I toured several of these and would be happy to offer advice on the best option for your trip.
