Trip Report: The Ritz-Carlton Boston Common – April 2010

Updated: Jun 26, 2021

My husband had a two day conference in Boston and I had an amazing email offer for a Club Level Room at the Ritz-Carlton Boston Common. We decided to combine business and leisure and enjoy the city life for a few days.

Rooms: Club Level Deluxe Room

Newer, modern furnishings (rooms renovated in 2008), bathroom with separate tub and shower and separate WC, comfortable bed, no city noise from windows

Location: Located at the end of Boston Common on a quiet side street off of Tremont Street.

Restaurant/Lobby: Hotel restaurant is small and is noisy when crowded. Club lounge is great.

Gym/Spa: Gym access is provided next door at the SportsClub/LA. It’s a $15 daily fee, or free if you are in a Club Level room.

Overall The Club Floor, modern feel, and updated rooms are what enables the Ritz to compete with any luxury hotel in Boston. I loved the convenience of being able to get snacks, coffee, water, and wine (in the evening) at my own convenience.

Details: Trip Length: Two nights Room Type: Club Level Deluxe Room
